How does magnet therapy work?
Magnets increase blood flow and circulation. They speed up the healing process and alleviate pain. Our bodies contain an electro-magnetic charge that is essential for it to function. The modern environment in which we live emits various types of interference from mobile phones, radio waves, microwaves, etc. This interference disrupts the bodies' natural magnetism and using magnet therapy realigns the bodies' natural magnetism, returning it to normal. As a result of magnet use, inflammation in the body is reduced particularly around injuries. Excess fluid retained in the tissues is removed along with toxins, which are stored there. Magnets also stimulate the blood circulation and increase the blood flow through the heart. This results in increased oxygen to the organs and tissues. Who should not use magnets?
Are there any side effects to wearing magnets?
Please note: Magnets also have an effect on certain watches so they should not be worn on the same wrist as your watch. Please use caution when handling magnetic erasable media, such as credit cards, diskettes, etc: these items will damage or erase stored information! How long will it be before I feel the benefits? Do not expect instant results! Magnet therapy can take up to 4 weeks to have an effect. Each person will react to magnets at a different rate. Some may feel benefits within 2 hours, while others in 2 weeks. The effects may be gradual at first and slowly increase over a number of days. Most people will have a noticeable difference with in 2 weeks. The magnets may have to be worn 24 hours a day 7 days a week in the initial period. Once good effect is felt and your pain has gone you may remove the magnets but if the pain returns, you should put the magnets back on until the pain subsides again. Please note: Magnet therapy cannot cure ailments. It is used to treat the symptoms of an ailment. It cannot mend worn out joints or cure arthritis but it will alleviate the pain associated with those ailments
